Alright so two things have become clear to me over the past 2 days:
1) There is a huge demand for JustHackIt.
2) I picked a bad (busy) week to launch it, and can't build it all myself.So if anyone wants to join the team, please shoot me an email breck7@gmail.com.
As far as equity goes, I say we do a week-long trial and decide whether it's a good fit at the end of next week. In the rare event that the site is sold before then, 100% will go to charity.
Currently the site is using SlinkSet. I'm thinking to switch to something PHP or Python based so that we have more control over the features.

This site would be really easy to build on Python and hosted on Google AppEngine.
I have a Reddit clone running right now on AppJet. We could easily use it as a base and go from there. It has some features including twitter-style following, posts can be in more than one category, and markdown formatting.
